Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist
Dr Terry Holt is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist based full-time in the Ipswich area since 2005.
Dr Holt began his career as an analytical chemist before completing a PhD in the metabolic consequences of chronic disease at the Royal Childrens Hospital and University of Queensland in 1990. He published extensively in this field and maintains an ongoing interest in this area.
Dr Holt completed his medical training at the University of Queensland in 1997. He completed his advanced training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. His interests include all aspects of general gastroenterology. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy at St Andrew’s Hospital Ipswich as well as the Mater Springfield Hospital.
